Amy Lesher
As a graduate of The Woodlands School of Massage Therapy, Amy Lesher has over 3 years experience as a licensed massage therapist. She has extensive knowledge of anatomy and the importance of massage therapy in the chiropractic practice.
She takes an active role in helping her clients reach their wellness goals
Her sessions begin with discussing client concerns, medical histories and specific stresses or pains to develop the most effective approach to massage treatment.
Amy’s massage therapy techniques include treatment for injuries, wellness maintenance, and stretch services. She incorporates a specialized technique known as Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique or SMRT. This technique is a positional release modality that interrupts pain signals in the body, painlessly resolves trigger points, has an incredibly calming effect on the nervous system. By working with all tissues in any given area, SMRT easily and quickly allows the tissues to balance and the joints to realign effortlessly, re-establishing correct posture.
Amy has a great affection for animals, especially her dogs at home. She has a love for literature and can usually be found with a library book at her desk.
